On March 13, 2026, Yin Wood Everest Web Development Co., Ltd. conducted a WordPress Development Training at FlatWhite Coffee Shop in Rosario Complex, Chrysanthemum from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
Several students from Polytechnic University of the Philippines, San Pedro, attended the training to learn the basics of creating websites using WordPress. The activity aimed to introduce students to the process of building and managing websites using the WordPress platform.
During the training, the instructor guided the students the step by step on how to create a website using WordPress. The session began with a brief introduction to WordPress, explaining what it is and how it functions as a Content Management System (CMS). The students were also introduced to important features such as themes, plugins, page builders, and how these tools help in designing and customizing a website.
Further, the instructor also demonstrated how to create important pages for a website, such as Home, About Us, Blogs, and Contact Us. Students learned how to upload images, manage content, adjust website settings, and customize the overall layout of their website. Through this hands-on activity, the students were able to understand the basic process of building a functional website.
Nevertheless, the training helped the students gain practical knowledge and experience in website development. It also gave them an idea of how web development works in a real working environment.
Before the session ended, the final schedule for the students’ On-the-Job Training (OJT) was also announced. This helped the students prepare for their upcoming internship and plan their working hours in order to complete the required 500 hours of training.
